Business Loans With Bad Credit — What Actually Approves at 500–600 FICO

Several real products carry no minimum FICO because something other than your credit secures them — your receivables, your equipment, or your deposits. Here they are, cheapest to most expensive, with the cost stated plainly.

Which products genuinely have no credit minimum

These are not workarounds. They are products where something other than your personal credit carries the risk, which is why the FICO requirement is absent from the published guidelines. Listed cheapest-to-most-expensive, which is also the order you should try them.

1. Invoice factoring / A/R financing — no minimum FICO

Your customers' creditworthiness is what is underwritten. Requires $100,000+ in outstanding B2B receivables aged up to 90 days and $500,000+ in annual gross sales. If you sell to businesses or government, this is almost always your cheapest path with damaged credit. Details.

2. Equipment financing — 580+ FICO

The equipment secures the loan, so the credit bar is the lowest of any lending product here. No minimum time in business, no revenue minimum; businesses under two years are capped at $50,000. Details.

3. Purchase order financing — no minimum FICO

A confirmed order from a creditworthy customer is the collateral. No minimum time in business — startups qualify with qualified orders. Details.

4. Bridge loans — no minimum FICO

Requires 6+ months in business and $10,000 a month in deposits. Same-day funding, and critically, no prepayment penalty. Details.

5. Merchant cash advance — no minimum FICO

Last on this list deliberately. Fastest and most expensive: 4+ months in business, $10,000 a month in deposits, same-day funding, priced on a factor rate rather than an interest rate. A $50,000 advance at a 1.35 factor means $67,500 repaid. Take it when nothing cheaper will approve and the use of funds clearly returns more than the cost. Details and the real math.

How to actually rebuild toward cheaper money

  1. Three months of zero negative days. The single highest-leverage change you can make, and it costs nothing.
  2. Consolidate existing daily debits before adding anything. Here is how.
  3. Use one primary business bank account so your deposit story is readable.
  4. Pay a secured facility perfectly for six months. Equipment financing paid on time is the cheapest credit-building tool a business has.
  5. Then re-apply for a line of credit at 600. That is the doorway back to normal pricing.
Anyone promising you a large unsecured loan at a low rate with a 520 score is either about to charge you an upfront fee or about to sell you an advance and call it a loan. We charge business owners nothing to apply, and we will tell you when the honest answer is "fix the file first."
