Equipment Financing — $10,000 to $5 Million, No Minimum Time in Business

Equipment financing is secured by the thing you are buying. Because the lender can repossess a CNC machine or a box truck and sell it, the credit bar is the lowest of any product here — 580 FICO, no minimum time in business, no revenue minimum. If you are young, thin-file, or previously declined, this is usually your first yes.

Program guidelines shown are our lending partners' published minimums as of September 2026 and can change. They are qualification floors, not an offer.

Who this is right for

  • Trucks, trailers, and fleet
  • Restaurant and commercial kitchen build-outs
  • Medical, dental and aesthetic devices
  • Shop equipment, CNC, lifts, excavators, farm equipment
  • Newer businesses that cannot clear a 660 FICO term-loan box yet

How it works

  1. Send the quote or invoice for the equipment — that document is most of the underwriting.
  2. Approval is driven by the asset plus a light look at you, not the other way round.
  3. The lender usually pays the vendor directly.
  4. You make fixed payments over 12 months to 5 years.

What to watch out for

Every figure on this page is a published program minimum from our lending partner network, not an offer. Your terms come from underwriting.
Straight answers

Equipment Financing — straight answers

Can I get equipment financing with a 580 credit score?
Yes — 580+ FICO is the published floor, and credit requirements vary based on the equipment itself. Highly resaleable assets like trucks and standard machinery underwrite easier than specialized or custom equipment.
Do I need to be in business for two years?
No. There is no minimum time in business on these programs. Businesses under two years old are capped at $50,000.
Can I finance used equipment?
Usually yes, from a dealer with a proper invoice and a verifiable serial number. Private-party purchases are harder and sometimes require an inspection or appraisal.
